#my feelings for Spike are so fucking complicated because on the one hand he was like my ~FIRST TRUE LOVE~ and I had posters of him on my wall from like the age of ten onwards and even now that I’m grown up he still means so fucking much to me; he’s like 80% of the reason I swear like I do and talk like I do and he was so important to me and I just cannot cannot cannot reconcile my Spike with what the writers made him do (and yes I make that distinction because James Marsters DID NOT want that scene - who would?) in Seeing Red and it just kills me that I have to make the distinction that yes I love this character BUT... and I just wish it had never happened which is dumb because rape attempts don’t just go away but it just ruins everything they were doing with him as a character and FUCK EVERYTHING #Spike #Buffy the Vampire Slayer
